Types of cover available to recent graduates

Medical Officer: New graduate

Our membership fee for graduates is waived to support health professionals like you as you start your career. When the fee-waived term ends, we’ll reach out to give you the option to continue your membership with payment.

Medical Officer: Recent graduate

The membership fee will likely remain waived during your training years, while we continue to provide cover for practice not indemnified by your employer.

Registrar

We will place you into our registrar basis if you are undertaking a specialist training program approved by an Australian Medical Council (AMC) accredited college.

This cover may also extend to practice not indemnified by your employer, even if it is indirectly related to your area of specialisation

MIPS membership ceases at 30 June each year. Check with your existing provider for cancellation fees. You can pay your membership fee by monthly instalments at no additional cost.
